Improvements Planned for Athletic and Recreational Facilities

As a Division I University, the Seton Hall community takes pride in its athletics. For countless Seton Hall student athletes, both past and present, the University evokes sentiments of joy, accomplishment and self-confidence.

Yet, our Pirates cannot compete to their full potential if they lack the proper equipment and facilities. Therefore, with the help of the Ever Forward campaign, the University plans to upgrade some of the athletic and recreational facilities on campus.

Locker rooms, particularly lockers and shower areas, will be revamped and a weight room will be added. In addition, Owen Carroll Field, home to the men’s baseball team and men’s and women’s soccer teams, will undergo a $2 million upgrade that will replace the field’s turf with synthetic grass, as well as upgrade the bleachers, grand stand and dug outs—truly making it a multipurpose resource.
